If you’re a Doctor Who fan, David Tennant needs no introduction, but did you know he played the wicked Barty Crouch Jr. in the Harry Potter films? If you don’t recall, Barty Crouch Jr. was a Death Eater who disguised himself as Alastor Moody in order to kill Harry Potter. Kilgrave in Marvel’s Jessica Jones, which is about a fictional superhero, is another nemesis for the Scottish actor. He has also appeared in Broadchurch as police investigator Alec Hardy.

Rubeus Hagrid – Robbie Coltrane
Rubeus Hagrid, the gentle, lovable, and loyal half-giant, was played by Robbie Coltrane. J. K. Rowling himself asked him to perform the part. Rubeus Hagrid may have made him an international famous, but both before and after Harry Potter, the Scottish actor appeared in numerous films, including two James Bond films, Brave, Great Expectations, and National Treasure. He now has a son and a daughter, and he has been awarded an OBE by the Queen.
