A Role That He Will Not Give Up
Harrison Ford shot to stardom ever since he played Han Solo in the Star Wars trilogy. However, Indiana Jones is another strong contender for his most iconic role. As a matter of fact, this is the answer he gave when he was asked about the role that he was proudest of. Now in his twilight years, the media can interview the actor since he has more free time. Who would he pick to take over this character? He said, “Nobody is going to be Indiana Jones. I’m Indiana Jones.”
Going Off The Cuff
We are sure that you are familiar with this particular scene from the Star Wars franchise. Before Darth Vader froze Han Solo alive, he had a final exchange with Princess Leia. She confessed, “I love you.” Most people would have simply said it back, but he just stared at her and said, “I know.” Who would have thought that it was actually an improvised line by the actor? The script actually said, “Just remember that, ‘cause I’ll be back,” although he decided to go off the cuff instead. Harrison Ford thought that it suited the character better, and we can’t disagree with that! We are glad that his improvisation actually made it to the final cut.
