Mayim Bialik
Mayim Bialik played the title role on NBC’s Blossom from 1991 to 1995. She has played other roles in films and on TV, but her popularity skyrocketed when she joined the hit show The Big Bang Theory. Her performance on the series got her nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress at the Primetime Emmy Awards four times. She also won Best Supporting Actress at the Critics’ Choice Television Awards in 2015 and 2017.

Aside from being an actress, Bialik is also a neuroscientist and an author. She has a Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of California. In 2003, she married Michael Stone but they divorced in 2012. They share two children together. In 2010, Bialik went back to television to have more time with her kids. She said, “I’m glad that I completed my PhD and I’m very proud of it, but the life of a research professor would not have suited my needs in terms of what kind of parenting I wanted to do.”
