Andrea Barber
Andrea Barber’s role on Full House made her famous. She portrayed Kimmy Gibbler, the annoying yet loveable neighbor of the Tanner Family, from 1987 to 1995. At first, she was a recurring role, but soon became a regular. In 1995, Barber retired from acting. She then went on to attend Whittier College to earn a degree in English and later attended the University of York, England, where she earned an MA in Women’s studies.

After finishing her MA, Barber worked at Whittier College. After her time on Full House, she appeared on a few other shows and films occasionally in spite of retiring from acting. In 2012, she appeared in a Funny or Die sketch with Dave Coulier, her former co-star on Full House. In 2016, she played the role of Kimmy once more for the spin-off series Fuller House which ran for five seasons. She has two children.
