Karyn Parsons
Most people know Karyn Parsons for her uptight character Hilary Banks on the popular show The Fresh Prince of Bel-air, which starred Will Smith. However, she has actually done more work on television, including starring in the critically acclaimed yet short-lived series The Job, alongside Denis Leary. She has also created, written, and produced a TV show. In addition, she worked in films like Late Nights, Major Payne and Ladies Man.

In 2019, she became a published writer when she released her first book, “How High the Moon.” It is based on the stories of her mother. Parsons released another book, this time a picture book about American civil aviator Bessie Coleman titled “Flying Free,” in 2020. She is married to Alexandre Rockwell, and they are parents to two children.
