Lily and her mother sat in room eleven, waiting for John. But when he did, he looked drastically different. He was strapped to several devices and had bandages wrapped over his head. But that wasn’t even the worst part. Because he said something unexpected when he saw his wife and daughter again.

“Who exactly are you?” John inquired, perplexed. “What exactly do you mean, darling?” “Do you not remember us?” Lily’s mother inquired, her gaze fixed on the doctor. “Uhm, doc, is this normal?” But the doctor appeared to be as perplexed as everyone else. “Follow me outside, please,” the doctor stated at the end. “I’ll explain everything right there.”
