King Henry IV
King Henry IV was anointed King of Navarre at the age of 19. He was also known as “Good King Henry” and “Henry the Great.” Two months later, he married. Protestants gathered to the city to commemorate St. Bartholomew’s Day, but it was nicknamed “The St. Bartholomew’s Day Massacre,” and he nearly died before fleeing to the French court.

Philippe Charlier and Philippe Froesch brought him back to life. His most recent assassination attempt went off without a hitch. He was stabbed by a Catholic in 1610.
