Saint Anthony
Saint Anthony, who was born in 1195, died at the age of 36. When he was alive, though, he was known for his supposed ability to heal the sick. He was canonized shortly after his death. He was the second-fastest person to be canonized! Only a year after his death, he was named the patron saint of misplaced objects.
What Saint Anthony Really Looked Like
Children sobbed and bells rang out on their own after his death, according to reports. Three decades later, his remains were discovered, but just his tongue and jawbone were salvaged. This initiative was a collaboration between the University of St. Anthony of Padua and the University of Sao Paolo.
