Richard III was only in power for two years. On the other side, his reputation has not been stellar. He was dubbed a tyrant by Shakespeare, and the Tudors took his place. He led an offensive against the Tudor army at the Battle of Bosworth Field, but his forces were quickly destroyed.

What Richard III Really Looked Like
In 2012, they were able to recreate a photo of Richard III after locating his body in an underground parking lot, which had been assumed to be lost. Researchers at Dundee University used this shot to construct a depiction of him. The researchers had to rely on historical documents because they didn’t have any realistic paintings.
