For the simple act of standing up for his rights, he chose not to pay the exorbitant sum demanded. If he violated any policies, was it truly significant? Being human, he deserved to be treated with dignity. Had the staff known the elderly man’s background, they might have acted more carefully. His unassuming appearance didn’t diminish the fact that he was far from weak.
