Taking Action
Jenna was fired from Starbucks as a result of the incident, which should serve as a sobering lesson to anyone in comparable positions of trust. She was caught on camera doing the same thing to another customer when they reviewed the surveillance tape. Beyond her own predicament, Cheri’s actions had repercussions. The Starbucks management took the situation seriously and put in place tougher procedures to stop similar crimes from happening again.
