Much like his The Lost Boys co-star Winter, Wirth has been actively producing different things, such as the 2001 feature film MacArthur Park, which he also directed. However, despite all of his accomplishments, the experience he had on The Lost Boys is still hard to beat. “We really did sleep all day, party all night. [It was] a fun time,” he recalled to CherryLosAngeles in 2017.

Although Jason Patric comes from a family of actors, at the time that they filmed The Lost Boys, he was still quite green in acting and Hollywood. Back then, Jason Miller’s son and Jackie Gleason’s grandson had only done one other theatrically released film. Nevertheless, Patric didn’t allow his relative inexperience to stop him from playing Michael brilliantly. It was like the actor was born to play the character.
