Corey Feldman Played Edgar Frog
Apparently, his parents pushed Corey Feldman into acting. We assume that is what happened since he began working in the industry when he was only three years old. Despite that, during his teen years, Feldman became a household name with the hits Gremlins, The Goonies, and Stand by Me. Crucially, his work in The Goonies ended up in his getting cast in The Lost Boys.

At the suggestion of Richard Donner, The Goonies’ director, Feldman met with Schumacher. We all know how that turned out – the young actor became Edgar Frog, the gung-ho vampire killer that The Lost Boys fans love. It’s hard not to appreciate Feldman in the role as he delved into it at full throttle. In preparation for playing the merciless mini-Van Helsing, the actor watched action movies that starred Hollywood tough guys, such as Sylvester Stallone, for hours on end.
