Time for the Truth
With the number of passive-aggressive resignation letters on this list, we’re beginning to feel sorry for the managers involved. We have no intention of doing so. To be honest, these CEOs deserve these highly charged resignations, and much worse. The individual who authored this note has chosen a sarcastic tone to match their wrath. They’ve graciously outlined all of the reasons they’re an excellent employee, and then signed off with a disingenuous “Good luck with everything.”
Ghosts of Grumpy Cat
Tardar Sauce, the first Grumpy Cat, was a feline with an underbite and dwarfism. As a result, the cat’s visage became permanently grumpy, spawning thousands of memes, lolcats, and parodies. Unfortunately, the world had to say goodbye to Grumpy Cat in 2019, but her grumpy spirit lives on. Here she is in yet another awful driver’s note. As we’ve seen, inserting a fictional character in an angry note is an effective way to avoid a genuine battle.
