Meghan and Harry have decided to remove themselves from many of their royal commitments, and it appears that the Queen is standing fast on some of the privileges they formerly enjoyed. According to ABC’s royal writer Omid Scoobie, Queen Elizabeth II spoke with the couple and informed them that she would no longer pay for their protection, which is estimated to cost around $25 million.
