Ibtihaj Muhammad
Fencing might not be a sport that has a huge audience, but you would be wise to keep your eye on Ibtihaj Muhammad. The fencer first competed in the Olympics in 2016 and has achieved must-watch status since then. That year, she became the first Muslim-American female athlete to bring home an Olympic medal. She and her teammates bagged a bronze medal. There was a Barbie made in her honor, which is cool. This photo was taken when she attended Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards in 2017.
