After Clare joined in the dance, Ann approached her again. The organizer grabbed Clare’s arm and pulled her off the dance floor. Ann said to Claire that her dress was too improper for most of the fathers inside the prom night. Those dads thought that after their son danced with her, those boys would think dirty things.
