Clare began to talk back to Ann and told her that she was not yet dancing. Her friends also supported what she had done. Again, Clare showed the organizer that her dress was longer than her fingertips. The girl wanted to tell Ann that she had met the appropriate dress code. However, Ann did not stop there until Clare’s boyfriend had intervened.
