We can’t imagine what kind of person would dispose of puppies in a sewer. Maybe the pups were overeager and explored a little too far? Whatever the case, a police officer in Florida heard a dog barking when driving. He didn’t see any dogs, however. So, he decided to follow the sound. After a little while, he ended up in a sewer drain where three pitbull puppies were peeking out from underneath the sewer gate. He quickly called animal services and got the puppies rescued.

Construction Of The Canal
In 1802, the canal’s construction began. It was done on the orders of Napoleon I, the French emperor of the time. Back then, Paris had a population of about 550,000 people. Of course, that number didn’t seem to be lowering anytime soon. So, Napoleon believed that the waterway would bring fresh water into the city and improved the residents’ health overall.
