In general, humans are most vulnerable when they’re in the bathroom. As soon as you sit down to do your business, something can catch you off guard. Whether it’s the phone ringing or the doorbell, it’s always unexpected. One thing people don’t typically expect is a fully grown snake inside their toilet. And yes, that really happened to people. One woman in Australia found a carpet python in her toilet.

A man named Barrie Green in Nottingham climbed down a manhole and found himself staring at a full-sized sofa. Barrie soon realized that the piece of furniture was obviously not flushed down a toilet – it couldn’t be. It must have somehow been shoved down the manhole. It would have taken a lot of force to pull off such a feat. It’s still a mystery as to how that was done in the first place and how it didn’t cause any blockages either.
