Sentimental Discoveries
As 90,000 cubic meters of water are drained from the canal, more and more things appear and are unearthed. You’d expect to find old and filthy goods, and that’s exactly what you got. Other, more startling discoveries were made. For example, take a look at this stuffed animal. It appears to be new, in contrast to everything else we’ve observed up to this time. The contrast between the fairly immaculate teddy animal and the dirty motorbike under it is almost terrifying in this photograph.

If you ask us, this snapshot provides a whole image. To be honest, you could build a whole tale around that. The filthy chair in the murky water… It’s completely covered with moss… When you think about it, it’s rather unsettling. Again, our thoughts wander to the many scenarios that led to this chair being thrown into the canal in the first place. Could that have been a heated exchange? Perhaps a fatal accident? There are so many options.
