The world got to know John Krasinski after he played Jim Halpert in The Office. This role was his big break and propelled him to stardom. Can you believe that he first tried out for the role of Dwight Schrute? We can’t even imagine what it would have been like if he got that part instead. The casting directors let him try out for Jim since he thought he had great chemistry with Jenna Fisher. Whew!

Also called Melisandre, The Red Woman is played by none other than Carice Van Houten. She was first asked to try out for Cersei Lannister. However, the actress was unable to take on that role due to a scheduling conflict. It worked out for the best as she earned one of the most iconic characters in the entire series. She later said, “Lena couldn’t be a better Cersei.” It is nice to see how humble she is!
