Mid-1970s actress Linda Evans became famous. She began her career at 12 and impressed with her variety and talent in TV, advertisements, and films. She wowed audiences in “The Big Valley” as Audra Barkley, a glamorous and vulnerable cowgirl. In 1981, Evans played Krystle Carrington in “Dynasty,” her most iconic role. Since then, she has focused on her health and well-being, campaigning for healthy aging, and writing “The Road to Healthy Aging.”
Cassandra Peterson, 71 – Elvira from Elvira’s Movie Macabre
Cassandra Peterson, known as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, became famous for her sexy B-Movie-horror character. Her 1981–1986 television series “Elvira’s Movie Macabre” was a cultural icon. Elvira propelled her to fame, earning her magazine covers, Johnny Carson and David Letterman appearances, and a 2009 Hollywood Walk of Fame star. She released “Welcome to the House of Mystery,” her 1989 album. Peterson has been called the Halloween Queen her whole career.
