Sheldon Cooper was played by Jim Parsons. The actor has been in a long-term relationship ever since the show premiered. As a matter of fact, he and his boyfriend got married just a few years ago in the Rainbow Room on the 65th floor of Rockefeller Center. The ceremony that came after the reception was just as extravagant to fit the wedding venue’s style. The whole cast was there to celebrate the new couple, naturally.

After they had met on the show Roseanne, these two began dating in 1992. At the time, they were two young and attractive stars on the show. Them being together in real life was simply a PR goldmine for the publicist of the series. A few years later, Sara actually admitted that she is in fact gay. Johnny went on to date other girls and be in different relationships over time. In that sense, he is similar to his character on the show, Leonard.
