Baby Anteater
Isn’t this cute baby anteater? The anteater is a popular nickname for four living Vermilingua suborder mammal species. The word literally means “worm tongue,” which explains why anteaters eat so well. Their favorite foods are ants and termites. They look like sloths and armadillos. It all works out! It makes sense when you see how they look. The three species share several characteristics.
Baby Octopus
Octopuses are extremely common. They’re brilliant and have the ability to change their form. You wouldn’t believe how tiny they were as infants. This tiny creature is perched on the end of someone’s finger, giving it an outsized look. Coral reefs, pelagic waters, and the seabed are all places where octopuses can be found. To shield themselves from predators, they either eject ink, use camouflage to hide, or use danger displays.
