Baby Gorilla
What is it about chimpanzees, gorillas, and chimps that makes them so fascinating? They are irresistible to us. When you see this bundle of joy, you’ll understand what we’re talking about. She’s so small! At the time of birth, a baby gorilla is smaller than a human baby. When it was born on September 28, 2018, the one in this picture weighed less than five pounds. It was born at the Jackson Zoo and Gardens to its mother, Kumbuka.

We had no idea this animal existed before that fateful day. In any case, we’re happy it’s a part of our lives. The okapi, also known as the forest giraffe, is an even-toed mammal found in the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s northeast. Even though it is more closely related to the giraffe, this animal has striped markings that resemble zebras. This picture is so beautiful that we could look at it all day!
