In the original Star Wars trilogy, Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker, was a cultural giant who impacted generations of filmmakers. Unfortunately, mark’s Star Wars fame didn’t always bode well for his career. “I don’t want Luke Skywalker in my video,” said one producer vehemently. Mark’s performance was too famous for him to be swiftly cast in further films, and he spent the remainder of his career doing voiceover work. Many of the recent cartoon renditions of the tale had him as Batman’s evil enemy, the Joker.
