The Russian Bear

Known as the Russian Bear, Ivan Koloff instilled fear in his opponents in the ring. During his time wrestling with WWF in the ’60s, he won the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. In 1993, he retired from wrestling but returned to the ring in 2004. In 1995, he was reborn again as a Christian and became an ordained minister. He even wrote a couple of books about his life and experiences. Sadly, he too passed away – in 2017.
