What Nefertiti Really Looked Like
The face of “The Younger Lady,” whose remains are thought to be Nefertiti’s, was mapped using digital and 3D techniques by Expedition Unknown. After scanning the face, Elisabeth Daynes spent 500 hours reproducing it. She was inspired by historical portraits of the monarch. In the end, it seemed to support the theory!
Robert The Bruce
From 1306 to 1329, Robert the Bruce ruled an independent Scotland. He was a key figure in the winning of Scottish independence during the guerrilla war against England. In June 1314, he won the Battle of Bannockburn. Edward II’s refusal to grant independence prompted the Scottish nobility to write to the Pope!
