Kenneth had only had the dog Scooter for a few weeks, but he already trusted the animal completely. He had owned dogs before, but this animal seemed different, almost extraordinary, from the start. Scooter was gentle, friendly and seemed to form a close bond immediately. Not only did Kenneth quickly bond with the dog, but his young son Pablo also developed an instant affection for his animal friend.

Scooter was primarily intended for Pablo. Kenneth and his wife Lyla, who was at work during the agency’s visit, had feared for some time that Pablo might have a hard time forming close friendships as he got older. They thought a dog could provide him with a loyal companion from an early age, offering him security and friendship.
