Lyla’s anger
Lyla’s fear turned to anger within seconds. “How could you let this happen, Kenneth?” she shouted, her voice quivering. “You should have been careful!” Kenneth, already consumed by guilt, tried desperately to justify himself. “I thought he was asleep, Lyla. I didn’t know he was going to leave the room.” But Lyla didn’t listen to him, her emotions boiling over. “This is your fault!” she screamed, her words cutting deep into his heart.

Police advise calm
When the officers realized that the argument was escalating, they intervened. “Please both stay calm,” said one of them urgently. “Arguing won’t help us find Pablo.” Kenneth and Lyla took a deep breath and tried to compose themselves. “We need to concentrate fully on finding your son,” the policeman continued. “Let’s put our energy into that.” Kenneth nodded, swallowing his anger, and Lyla dried her tears, determined to get her son back.
