The prom date was around the corner
Only two weeks remained until the big prom night, which was approaching. Almost all of the kids were eager to locate a date on which they might ask for the prom. Because they were aware that going to the prom by themselves would almost certainly result in a never-ending stream of bullying and a great deal of ridicule. Despite the fact that Richard was already accustomed to this kind of conduct, he was nonetheless interested in giving it a shot.

When Richard’s parents relocated to this new town in the midst of the second school year, he was transferred to this new school. Richard was a new student at this school. The fact that he was a shy boy made it difficult for him to interact with new children and to hang out with them. It was because of this that he was subjected to persistent bullying from his classmates.
