The park was where Shirley waited for her mystery boyfriend to show up till he arrived. In spite of the fact that they were supposed to meet at noon, he arrived late. It occurred to Shirley that this was something that might happen to anyone, as he might be caught in traffic or something like that. Now, however, that was not the case.

It was important to her to find out who she was speaking with, specifically whether it was Richard, as she might be able to assist him in returning to school. Shirley went home feeling dissatisfied after waiting for two hours, but then she received a text message. What happened?
