At this point, the school’s rumor mill had already gone into overdrive, and almost all of the students in his class were aware of the situation. All of a sudden, everyone was attentively observing him and pointing at him whenever he walked through the corridors of the building. It was the first time that his classmates were unable to manage a scenario like this with the appropriate response.

In spite of the fact that doing so would almost certainly result in rejection and bullying, there were some individuals who stood up for Richard and praised his bravery for really asking females out. Richard was experiencing a sense of satisfaction and pride in himself for a few hours. Additionally, he began to engage in conversation with a few children in the intervals between classes; however, the majority of the bullies had a different perspective on this.
