Guinan, an El-Aurian, was played by Whoopi Goldberg, a phenomenally accomplished actor. She performed a fantastic job with no questions asked. Following the series’ completion, Goldberg went on to win several Emmy Awards, Grammy Awards, Oscar Awards, and Tony Awards. But there’s more: Goldberg is only the second black woman ever to receive an Academy Award for acting. These days, you may see Goldberg on the popular chat show The View.

Hoshi Sato – Linda Park
Linda Park landed the part of Hoshi Sato in the Star Trek franchise shortly after graduating from Boston University. She is also a dancing student and the mother of a delightful three-year-old. Park continued to work on other projects on the big and small screens after the franchise ended. NCIS, The Affair, Lovestruck, and For All Mankind were among them.
