There was a moment when Stephanie Rice was the greatest hope in the field of swimming for Australia. She struck gold in the 200m, 400m and 200m relays in 2008. In these three contests, she eventually set world records! It’s easy to see why she’s a recipient of the Medal of the Order of Australia. After her retirement in 2014, we are sad to hear that she no longer plays at the professional level. Even so, she is still active in sports as a coach for a company called CoachUp.

While Natalie Gulbis is not the most successful woman in the sport, one can argue that she is certainly among the most recognizable female golfers of all time. For several reasons, the LPGA tour regular has become a household name in her field. She has become a marketing icon with many endorsements for golfing and swimwear lines under her belt in the past ten years alone. There’s also a chance you’ll remember her from her regular appearance in Celebrity Apprentice.
