They went to Namibia, where the daughter was born, to escape from all the paparazzi who wanted to see their first biological child. Even though Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wanted all their children’s lives privately, they decided to sell photos of their newborn daughter. It might sound ridiculous to sell images of a baby, but their aim was quite honest – to give and donate all their money from the sale of Shiloh’s images to a charity.

In Namibia, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt asked the authorities for assistance and additional security to keep their newborn daughter, Shiloh Nouvel, especially away from the paparazzi. They had a very strict policy when visiting the baby in the hospital – close families and friends could only visit them if they had a handwritten pass given to them beforehand.
