Black Lives Matter Movement
Angelina Jolie, while explaining the Black Lives Matter movement, made a special, comprehensive remark about her 15-year-old daughter Zahara. This week, the actress as well as humanitarian, who also is a contributing editor of Time magazine, met with Ugandan climate activist Vanessa Nakate for a virtual conversation on social movements and the changing climate. The conversation turned to the Black Lives Matter movement, that also may well be the biggest activity in U.S. history, and after adopting her from Ethopia in 2006, Jolie decided to share how Zahara impacted her life.
Zahara Growing Up
Zahara is very connected to her siblings and parents, as demonstrated by all pictures of her family trips over the years. As a kid, Zahara often was photographed doing fun things with her mom and dad, whether it’s a day in Central Park or even a visit to a New York City art shop. Zahara was just a baby when she accompanied her mom and dad to Tokyo in 2005, in which they participated a screening of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and only a baby when she stayed in Prague as Wanted was filmed by Angelina.
