They thought the baby seals would be comfortable enough to stay. When the seals were young, they were more afraid, and there was a greater chance that they would swim away. The divers made every effort to keep their movements to a minimum.

When diving, the divers made a concerted effort not to cause any disruption to the environment. Every diver should make it a priority to ensure that animals in their natural habitat are not disturbed or cause any harm to the divers as a result of their fear.
