Some of us can only fantasize about owning a diamond worth more than our car. The Queen is the proud guardian of the 530.2-carat diamond. Prior to actually being used as part of the Sovereign’s Sceptre with the Cross, the diamond was first presented to Mary of Teck in 1910. A diamond is rarely seen outside of the crown jewels. The Cullinan Diamond was difficult to cut and split. In the original diamond, nine magnificent stones added a fortune to the Queen’s fortune.
