Two Black Jaguars
Owned Since: 1968
Valued At: $56,000*
The queen is the proud owner of two rare black jaguar cats. Aizita and Marques are the names of the jaguars, and they live in the London Zoo with the other exotic animals that the queen was given. The black jaguar is the most elusive of all panthers. Due to hunting and habitat destruction, there are only 600 left in the wild. There are more black jaguars than non-black jaguars in the dense vegetation. Animal experts are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to keep the jaguars happy and healthy.
Offshore Wind Farm
Owned Since: 2010
Valued At: $900 million*
The majority of people are unaware that the Crown owns a few different renewable energy projects. The British Queen owns the seabed and anything built on it. The wind farm was built in 2010 just a few miles off the coast. The price tag is astronomical, with the company investing $900 million in its development. The project was announced by the Crown in 2004, but it was not completed for another 6 years. Analysts estimate that Queen Elizabeth’s wind farms will bring in millions of dollars.
