In the 1970s, Bern Nadette Stanis was launched into a stardom after playing Thelma Ann Evans on Good Times by CBS sitcom. At that time, the African-American public dreamed of following in its footsteps. She only appeared on TV shows like The Parent Hood, The Love Boat and The Cosby Show after the show was over. Although she sometimes appears on several shows, she is retired mostly and wanted to focus on her family.

Nobody can forget Tippi Hedren’s excellent performance with Alfred Hitchcock as director on The Birds. Apart from her acting skills, you probably know her for having great kids. Her daughter is Melanie Griffith, one and only. Her grandchildren are Dakota Johnson and Stella Banderas. Although she has retired, the actress appears small in some projects. Hedren recently focused on starting fundraising campaigns for several different charities and the preservation of wildlife is her vocation.
