The cat
Just as Jack was about to start the tractor, he was told, “Dad, wait!” He looked over and saw his daughter Maria with wide eyes. “There’s something under the tractor!” She said excitedly. Jack quickly jumped out of the tractor. There under the powerful wheels was a small, weak-minded cat. If he had started with the tractor, the poor kitty would have been trapped under the tires. The cat was in a pitiful state and his expression was sad and cut deep into Jack’s heart.

Little did the farmer know that this was just the beginning of a strange day. His unusual and strange day had just begun. He stretched out the cat, his daughter beside him. When he picked up the kitten and handed it to his daughter, it didn’t resist. When he asked Mary to take the cat to Bonnie, his other daughter, Giselle, started bawling.
