Rise to mega stardom
Following the huge success of “Home Alone,” Macaulay Culkin became the biggest little movie star of the early 1990s. Movie companies sent him a lot of job offers because they wanted to make money off of his fame. His answer on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” was, “I did about 14 movies in six years or something.” Those movies had “My Girl,” “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,” “The Good Son,” “Getting Even with Dad,” “The Pagemaster,” plus “Richie Rich.”
His friendship with Michael Jackson
Macaulay Culkin thought of Michael Jackson as his best friend when he was at the height of his fame in the early 1990s. He told Marc Maron on “WTF” that he was his best friend when they were kids. At Neverland Ranch, Culkin spent a lot of time with Jackson and was in his music video for “Black and White.”
