Macaulay Culkin was arrested for having drugs in 2004. CNN reported that when he and a friend were pulled over for speeding, police found weed and Xanax and clonazepam that he didn’t have a prescription for. According to Culkin, the arrest was given a lot more attention than it deserved. “You know, I used to be a child actor… I should be a lot more f***ed up than I am. He told New York Magazine, “I was proud that I wasn’t that cliché. It was like, ‘Oh, great, I gave a lot of people exactly what they wanted.'”
He published a novel in 2006
That same year, Macaulay Culkin put out a book called “Junior.” The book is a mix of story fragments, snippets, drawings, and songs. It’s part novel, part memoir. Even though he wrote a book, the first sentence of it says, “I am not a writer.” He then says, “I’m not trying to make this book look like something it’s not.” Someone told me to write a book, so I did.
