When Philip returned home from the airport, he discovered a note that had been taped to the door of his apartment. He was curious as to who might have written the note, but there was neither a name nor a stamp on it. Consequently, a personal delivery was required. Try to find Theo.” Philip was curious about the identity of the person who was sending him notes and letters on a consistent basis. Who exactly was this Theo, anyway? Philip prepared his journey through the abandoned town by packing his backpack and setting out on his journey. The village has the appearance of a deserted ghost town. There is no light coming from within the homes, and no one else can be seen walking the streets. When he arrived at the trail leading up the mountain, he noticed something peculiar.

A sign that read “Restricted area” was affixed to the wall. Please do not trespass! Philip, however, was unfazed by this and immediately began walking. The trail was difficult to navigate due to the presence of a large number of loose stones and frozen puddles. Nevertheless, he was successful in arriving at his initial destination.

In the distance, he could make out a quaint little cottage. He reasoned to himself, “It must be Theo.” And he began to pick up his pace a little bit as he walked. He needed to get to the cottage as quickly as possible because a storm was moving in his direction. But then an event takes place that he was not anticipating at all.

But to his astonishment, there was nobody at home. As the wind picked up, he pounded on the door in an attempt to get someone’s attention. It was imperative that he find a way to enter the building; otherwise, he would not be able to resume his search the following day. Then an unexpected turn of events takes place.

After that, the door swung open, and Philip found himself confronted by the outline of a child. He questioned, “Theo?” And the man-made room for himself. It was very strange that he chose to remain silent when he was talking to Philip. It appeared as though he was waiting for him. Who exactly is this guy?

The man indicated a bed with his finger. But in addition to that, there was something else. Another note was located on the head of the bed. Because of all of these notes, Philip had the impression that he was participating in a treasure hunt. Why did this person, who clearly was aware of the location of the plane, not just go there themselves?

The note had the coordinates written in it. Because Philip is skilled at reading coordinates, he has a general idea of the direction in which he should travel. Philip was confident that the location the coordinates pointed him to hold the airplane. Therefore, he continued his search with an optimistic attitude the following day. But he never in a million years would have predicted something like this.

Philip continued to walk for a long time until the muscles in his legs started to hurt. Even though he was getting close to the peak of the mountain, he still couldn’t find any trace of the airplane anywhere. Is it possible that this person is playing a joke on him? But then he witnesses something that defies his ability to explain it.

Philip turns his head to the left and notices something protruding from the mountain to his left. It does not resemble anything that could have been found in nature. He strains his eyes and all of a sudden makes out the shape of a wing. Phillip is thinking to himself, “That has got to be the plane.” From where he is currently standing, the plane is at least an additional day’s walk away. And there is still one more thing…

There is no way to get to the plane through this area. In order to get there, Philip has to travel off the beaten path, and there is a significant amount of snow. Because of this, he needs to exercise extreme caution because he cannot see what is hidden beneath the snow. As he makes his way over to the airplane, he shuffles his feet over the ground to get a better feel for the rocks. On the other hand, the darkness increased with each passing minute.

When the sun began to set, Philip had not even made it to the halfway point yet. He could see a small patch of level ground in the distance where he could pitch his tent, but he had to get there as quickly as possible. He arrived just in the nick of time and quickly set up his tent, but just as he was doing so, the wind began to pick up. Phillip climbed into his sleeping bag and made an effort to maintain his body temperature, but it was a challenge.

The next morning, when he woke up, his hands were frozen and he had icepicks stuck in his beard. Because the sky was clear and the sun was shining, he decided to go stand outside for a while in order to warm up. After he had warmed up a little, he gathered everything up and then continued on with his journey. Now, he was so very close.

When Philip arrived at the plane after what seemed like an eternity, he couldn’t believe his eyes. The only part of it that he could make out through the snow was one wing. The rest of it was buried. Because Philip could not handle this task on his own, he determined the location of the aircraft and then returned to Theo’s quarters to report his findings. There was where he would make a call for assistance.
