Jason Isaacs
Even before the Harry Potter films, Jason Isaacs had already played several unforgettable roles. Portraying the detestable Lucius Malfoy simply added to the magic. After his audition, the star got so into the books that he finished reading four of them consecutively. He called them “crack.” With that much passion, it’s not a surprise that he is such a convincing villain. Isaacs continues to act, with a long list of acting credits in film, TV, and stage.

Jessie Cave played Lavender Brown, Harry’s fellow Gryffindor student who appeared in the last three films. More than 7000 girls had auditioned for the role. Cave has since branched out after the Potter movies. Besides acting on different TV shows like making an appearance on Call the Midwife, she’s become a pretty successful stand-up comedian. She’s also lending her voice to the character Belinda Potter in an animation called The Potters.
