Alex Winter Played Marko
He had quit acting when teenaged Alex Winter decided to go back to the screen to play the magnificently mulleted Marko in The Lost Boys. He even stopped going to film school for a bit to do the gig. However, it was truly a risky move for Winter, and he wasn’t actually convinced that the film would be a hit. In the 2019 documentary titled In Search of Darkness, he explained, “It was impossible to see it working. I was like, ‘[This is] not going to work in spades.’”
