Don’t Break the Rules
The Hells Angels’ golden rule is simple: Don’t break the rules. Every member is aware of the code, and any infraction bears serious consequences. Disregard the rules, and the repercussions are immediate and uncompromising. The punishment varies depending on the offense, but make no mistake: mercy is not a part of the culture. Some Hells Angels members who crossed the line had their tattoos removed forcibly. Others? Expelled utterly, with no vestige of brotherhood remaining. And once you’re out, you’re out forever—no contact, no second chances, and no way back. In this universe, loyalty is essential, and betrayal carries a heavy price.

They Honor Members in Their Passing
The Hells Angels consider themselves more than just a club; they are a family. And, like any close-knit family, they remember their loved ones, particularly those who died too soon. When a member dies, the brotherhood comes together not only in memory, but also in support. It is not uncommon to see tribute rides, posters, or tributes prominently displayed at events. When 20-year-old member Clay Porter died in 2018, his fellow Angels traveled to his hometown to not only pay their respects, but also to embrace and soothe his grieving mother.
