Dudley Dursley – Harry Melling
Although his character as spoiled cousin Dudley Dursley did not make the best use of his acting ability, Harry Melling comes from an acting family. He has recently dropped weight, allowing him to seek parts that are substantially different from those of Dudley Dursley. He has since appeared in The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, where he received critical acclaim for his portrayal. Melling has also appeared in films such as The Lost City of Z and fantasy shows such as Merlin.
Dean Thomas – Alfred Enoch
Alfred Enoch played Dean Thomas when he was only 13 years old. Following the Harry Potter films, the English-Brazilian actor rose to prominence and notoriety for his portrayal of Wes Gibbins in the legal thriller How to Get Away with Murder. He has appeared in various Shakespeare plays, including Timon of Athens, Coriolanus, and King Lear. He also appeared in Trust Me and is currently working on Provisional Measure.
